Pharmacological effect. Rehydrating and disintoxication agent, stabilizes fluid and electrolyte composition of the blood.

When used as a the drug for compensation for circulating blood volume, due to rapid transit from the bloodstream into the extravasal space, the effect maintains only for 30-40 minutes (therefore the solution is suitable only for short-term volume resuscitation).

Indications. Shock; thermal injury; acute blood loss; dehydration; intestinal fistula; acute intestinal infections; therapeutic plasma exchange; correction of fluid and electrolyte balance under acute general peritonitis and intestinal obstruction.

Shelf life: 3 years.
